Real Time Gaming

review

Did you know that Real Time Gaming – or RTG if you prefer – has been up and running since 1998? That is quite some time in the business, so it is small wonder that they have made so many casino games and developed plenty of features since their beginnings. Let’s discover some of the things they’re best known for.

They’re big on slot game sequels

These sequels do not always have a number after them, although some do. Lucha Libre and Lucha Libre 2 focus on Mexican wrestling for example – taking on a theme that hasn’t been done often at all.

However, there are much better examples of sequels that have helped RTG create a host of slots based around the same characters or topics. There is Bubble Bubble, where we meet Winni the witch. In the second game, neatly titled Bubble Bubble 2, of course, we meet Wanda the witch as well. Finally, the third game brings back those two witches and adds a third – Willow.

Perhaps the best series of slots they have created involves the Cash Bandits though. There are three numbered instalments, each taking you inside the vault room to try and open some safes if you can reach it. The fourth instalment involves a Cash Bandits Museum Heist, so that at least attempts something different.

New games look sensational – but older ones are still playable too

We chose a new title to play, Shogun Princess Quest, that looked great and provided some pastel tones and an anime-style appearance to create interest. While we had a great time with that, we still enjoyed older titles. Ghost Ship is one of our older favorites, with real Mary Celeste vibes to keep things sailing along.

What’s coming next from RTG?

Real Time Gaming offers an impressive array of slots to play. Many are playable free if you choose the demo mode to help you do this. Whispers of Seasons and Hades’ Flames of Fortune have both recently dropped, so there are always new titles on the way. Which ones will you remember long after you have played them for the first time?
